Well...

One time, I was rather impatient in a factions mission (Tahnnakai Temple, I think), as I wanted to get Master-rank. The rest of my team was was constantly shouting at me for constantly rushing ahead (as a necromancer). After a few deaths, I decided to appologise,but appearently I didn't hit enter hard enough, and accidentally charged into a huge group of afflicted and brought up a number of menus. I can't type while looking at the screen, so by the time i noticed and closed all the menus, I was dead. My group charged in to save me, and we all died. as soon as we got back to the town, I left rather then face them. That's the worst I remember doing.

I can top that a little - I was running as my battery necro in Arborstone and I BiP'ed myself to death just before the end, when we were getting slaughtered by the Oni.

On my first assassin I ID'ed a Zealous dagger tang, used for a while, and after foolishly deciding it was worthless, upgraded the daggers with a different tang.

Just did this: Made a new monk. Died. Restarted so I could get Survivor. Realised I'd deleted Kekphet's Refuge with him.

Bought 10 Rubies for 45k. (The price jumped this much in two seconds, and I was clicking my heart out.)

There went my profit. I've also "wasted" money by spending 20-50k on weapons that become salvage fodder one month later, when shinier things come rolling in.

Well, i have learned to double check that team chat is turned on at times, in the heat with thorn wolves, i did accidently turn teamchat off, and was tired, so didn't pay too much attention to what was going on.

Having chat turned off, also being the person furthest behind..... well i didn't see them screaming "STOP!!!!!!" and viola I enter the room together with everyone else.... and i see red dots appear...ALOT of them ... "oooops......."

I've just deleted a few characters with the usual about 90k on them that was meant to go in storage but never got around to it.

Before additional character slots were public knowledge, I wanted a mesmer and a a warrior so I bought a second account. I made a male mesmer and bought him FoW armour then dyed it black.

A couple of months later character slots were available and I had to have one of each class on my main account so I salvaged the mesmer's FoW and made a female instead on my main. I got 10 Obsidian Shards from the leggings, a rune and a tonne of Cloth from the remainder.

I don't regret it though. As much as I liked my male mesmer, I had to have all characters on the same account. It was more important.

did this one a long time ago. was holding halls on my pve ele and went to id a req 10 serpent that dropped for me. later didnt realize i hit the salvage kit instead of the id kit... new keyboard was soon installed...

Just bought nice new 15K armour on my warrior after having same armour for ages. Salvaging off runes, somehow clicked my new trousers instead of old.

15K down, but i got most of the mats i needed and the rest i got off of friends

was about 1,5 years ago
got a 15^50 fellblade req. 8 or 9, i don't know it anymore, from the father of my friend for free who had actually no idea that this was worth quite much,...neither had i!
i mean, i knew that this was more worth than all my other stuff...
so i was in LA advertising it, i got like 5 pm's everytime i sent the message, i got 100k+5e offered, i was so shocked and happy, so i pressed accept
there was 1 guy who was annoying me the whole time about the fellblade, i told him that i had already sold it, then he said that he would have offered 5times as much

he ended up buying the fellblade from my buyer for about 100+30 or 40 ectos, i don't know it exactly

Was playing a Rit, kiting away from a couple guys...i had 25 HP left, and I was the only one left with a res...casted Generous was Tsungrai instead of Weapon of Warding, and there I go.

I wondered why I was selling so much! ....My first foray into trading, I would put up the items, then If I was asking 5k, I would add that to the gold amount "offered"...so, you'd get the items and you would get your money right back....). Such a deal! I call it the Guild Wars Reward Program

I also tried salvaging a rune off a piece of 15k armour, feeling lucky and all. Well..... I got the rune.....
